Sell me an excitement!

I remember that feeling when I had HTC Diamond in my hands for the first time. It was a mix of thrill and excitement. It was exactly that famous wow effect. After mobile phone, it felt like you had all the world at your fingers tips and your PC in the pocket. It was more than just buying a new thing; it was buying a new experience.

Last week I changed my Nexus 4 to Lenovo 900. So what? Bigger screen? So what? Guys, please sell me that thrill and excitement, not 0,8 extra inches of the screen.

We know well there are product and marketing oriented companies, and marketing oriented companies survive while product oriented die. And marketing does sell! In the world of smartphones, it sells well for the last five years. But it will never sell you an excitement and wow effect.

The marketing essentially is a story telling. And the product is a principal character in the story. The prince. If the prince sucks, the fairy tale will be boring. Even with all the fancy words.

Give me a new gadget in a form of the cube with six separate screens! Want it now!!!
